Tomchei Shabbos!
Tomchei Shabbos (“Support of the Sabbath”) is the only Sabbath Kosher food distribution organization in Arizona. We provide for those who cannot provide for themselves. Tomchei Shabbos dispenses Kosher food baskets, so impoverished Jews or elderly shut ins may celebrate Shabbos and Yomim Tovim with dignity.
Tomchei Shabbos of Arizona provides weekly complimentary food packages for Valley Jews who are in need of assistance due to limited income, job loss, illness or any other financial setback. Tomchei Shabbos’ goal is to ensure that everyone has adequate food to celebrate and enjoy Shabbat in a dignified manner. Help Tomchei Shabbos provide the basic, yet vital, needs of hundreds individuals monthly who rely on us to feed their families!
Shabbat Baskets may include fresh fruits and vegetables, challah, wine/grape juice, fish, chicken and other basic essentials that enable the family to enjoy two Shabbat meals per week. A more extensive package is distributed on holidays.
